Summer TV Wish List: Our Hopes For True Blood, Suits, Pretty Little Liars and 13 More Series
Beauty and the Beast
Season 2 resumes June 2 at 9/8c (The CW)
OUR WISH | That Gabe — desperate to remove Vincent from Cat’s life and thus restart their truncated romance — opts to “beast out” again, on the down low.
Season 2 premieres June 19 at 8/7c (Syfy)
OUR WISH | That Kenya’s death at Stahma’s milky white hand was all an elaborate ruse.
Season 4 premieres June 22 at 10/9c (TNT)
OUR WISH | That the show stops wheeling out new varieties of ETs and delineates an end game for Tom, Weaver at al, with an eye on a big, final Earth vs. Them showdown.
Season 2 premieres June 16 at 9/8c (ABC Family)
OUR WISH | That Wyatt cuts his hair. Just kidding, we love that mop! But can we please say goodbye to angsty Brandon and remember the sweet, sensitive kid we met in the first season?
Season 4 premieres Aug. 1 (Netflix)
OUR WISH | That series creator Veena Sud resists any urge she might have to play the romance card with Holder and Linden during the show's final six-episode run.
Season 2 premieres June 2 at 10/9c (ABC)
OUR WISH | That Karen Kim never stops being the hottest of hot, buttered messes. Her terrible decision making is the foundation for so many of our summer gasps, laughs and DVR rewinds.
Orange Is the New Black
Season 2 premieres June 6 (Netflix)
OUR WISH | That Healy’s ass-hattery is discovered and punished, and that we see Miss Claudette at least once in the new season.
Pretty Little Liars
Season 5 premieres June 10 at 8/7c (ABC Family)
OUR WISH | That Alison has a little fun now that she’s returned to the land of the living. Whether that “fun” is joining a new club at school, or finally giving fans the same-sex love triangle they’ve been waiting for, we’ll leave that up to Ali.
Season 5 premieres June 19 at 9/8c (ABC)
OUR WISH | That writers abandon the love triangle and have Andy stick it out with one guy. (Who that guy is, we’ll leave that up to the fans to argue about.)
So You Think You Can Dance
Season 11 premieres May 28 at 8/7c (Fox)
OUR WISH | That SYTYCD experiences an unexpected ratings surge in its eleventh season — sparing us from the “will-it-or-won’t-it-get-renewed” anxiety that’s plagued us for the last several autumns.
Series premieres July 13 at 10/9c (FX)
OUR WISH | That the Guillermo del Toro-crafted vampire-y drama deals out at least half as much character development as it does ooky-spooky, watch-through-your-fingers chills.
Season 4 premieres June 11 at 9/8c (USA Network)
OUR WISH | That Donna gets her very own special episode. Because you can never have enough Donna.
Switched at Birth
Season 3 resumes June 16 at 8/7c (ABC Family)
OUR WISH | That Bay and Emmett are really and truly reunited after their night of passion in the woods.
Season 4 premieres June 23 at 10/9c (MTV)
OUR WISH | For Stiles to finally find love. And we don’t even care who he ends up with. Lydia, Malia, Scott’s mom, anybody. (Come on, who could say no to this face?)
Season 7 premieres June 22 at 9/8c (HBO)
OUR WISH | That Eric’s fate is revealed via flashback… a glorious, naked flashback.
Witches of East End
Season 2 premieres July 6 at 9/8c (Lifetime)
OUR WISH | For Aunt Wendy to magically regain her missing eight lives. Honestly, if we ever lost her, we’re not sure how we’d go on. (Also, isn’t it about time she let Freddie Prinze Jr.’s Leo out of captivity?)
