In the process, he has become one of the nation’s leading Idol experts, appearing on Good Morning America, Today, CBS’ Early Show, NPR and Fox News, and even writing an essay for the New York Times (titled “Worshipping at the ‘Idol’ Church”). Since joiningTVLine in January 2011, Slezak has dug deeper into the reality genre, also providing morning-after commentary on The X Factor, The Voice, Dancing With the Stars, Project Runway, Survivor, The Next Food Network Star, So You Think You Can Dance, The Glee Project, and Glee, to name a few.
