Prison Break: Watch the First 5 Minutes of This Week's Revival Premiere

“Freedom has a price,” says Michael Scofield in the opening seconds of Fox’s Prison Break revival. And for the dearly departed structural engineer, playing dead has cost him a brother, a wife and a son.

Fox has released below the first five minutes from the “Season 5” premiere (airing Tuesday at 9/8c), and they allow a glimpse at where Michael (played by Wentworth Miller) is right now, give a hint at what brother Lincoln (Legends of Tomorrow‘s Dominic Purcell) has been up to for the past seven years and cover Theodore “T-Bag” Bagwell’s (Robert Knepper) release from prison, where he is met with a very special (pretty?) delivery.

Also on hand for the revival (but showing up in Minutes 6 and beyond) are Colony’s Sarah Wayne Callies (as Michael’s remarried wife Sara), Amaury Nolasco (Sucre) and Rockmond Dunbar (C-Note), while new faces include Royal Pains‘ Mark Feuerstein (as Sara’s new husband) and Imposters‘ Inbar Lavi.

I remember being mesmerized by the Heat and Cold characters on Flash, bailing on Flash because it got too complicated, but did research on why those two actors grabbed one. That was when I discovered Prison Break of years ago. I really scored with the husband when I dragged that DVD set home. We are on the edge of our seats!

I’m so ready. See T-Bag hasn’t changed. Shocked about Linc especially after all they’ve been through. -Must stay spoiler free-

  3. Joe Julians says:

Are we meant to believe that T-Bag would just be released from prison?!

    • Lola says:

Haha. I guess that’s when suspension of disbelief kicks in for us viewers. The original series definitely said that T-Bag was a lifer. I highly doubt after his brief freedom and subsequent crime spree would afford him a release from jail no matter how ‘model citizen’ he’s been in jail.

Why have they change the timeline of the show? If its been 7 years since Micheal supposedly “died” the show should be set in 2012 but the season is set now.

I also noticed that in one of the trailers the date of Micheal’s “death” on his headstone was November 4 2010, however in the show he “died” November 4 2005.

Is there an explanation for this?

Also are they completely ignoring the events that took place in the Final Break?

Won’t miss it for the world
