Carpool Karaoke Teaser: Bruno Mars Makes (24K) Magic With James Corden

It’s about to get all kinds of funky in James Corden’s car, thanks to Bruno Mars.

The “Uptown Funk” hitmaker rides shotgun with the Late, Late Show host for another installment of Carpool Karaoke on Tuesday night (CBS, 12:37 am ET), and CBS has released a tantalizing sneak peek at the proceedings, which you can watch above. (And try not to dance along. Go ahead: We dare you.)

In the clip, Mars — in sunglasses, gold chains and a “XXIV” hat — lets loose with Corden, bopping along to Mars’ latest hit, “24K Magic.” (And man, Corden can hit all those notes right along with him, can’t he?) They look like they’re having a great time… but they can only dance so much with their seat belts on, unfortunately. Maybe they can hit a red light and start a dance party on the street?

Conveniently, Mars will be hitting NBC’s The Voice on Tuesday night as well to perform “24K Magic” — and to ensure that his song is hard-wired into your brain for at least the rest of 2016.

Corden is beating that bit into the ground. Might want to back off and do one every month or so.

  2. Lola says:

    Yes I love it.

  3. Kevin says:

    So excited come Tuesday.

  4. Big Cheddar says:

I cannot WAIT for this one. He’s gotta do Uptown Funk and Locked Out of Heaven. Maybe he’ll do the song he wrote with Adele, or some other hit he wrote. If he really, really wants to take a trip down memory lane, maybe he’ll do an Elvis song or Michael Jackson song.

  5. Jean Reese says:

He’s about to go on hiatus for Christmas so I imagine it was now or way too late!!
