Lethal Weapon Sneak Peek: Has Riggs Stumbled Upon His Wife's Killer?

From the looks of this exclusive sneak peek of Lethal Weapon‘s holiday episode, Riggs is getting a slightly early, very nasty Christmas present.

In tonight’s installment (Fox, 8/7c), the grieving cop investigates a crime involving — as Capt. Avery calls him — “Eddie freaking Flores,” a drug cartel associate with whom Riggs had run-ins back in Texas. And when the loose cannon cop finally comes face-to-face with Flores in California, the bad guy insinuates that he had something to do with the car crash that killed Riggs’ pregnant wife, Miranda.

“Sometimes we lose people, right?” Flores says, sneering at a shocked Riggs. “Accidents happen.”

But after the police take Flores into custody, his crime-boss uncle takes drastic steps to get him released… and those steps involve Murtaugh’s wife, Trish, and children.

It’s all very tense, and Murtagh gets all Dirty Harry, and, well, press PLAY on the video above (which includes a handy recap of the show’s freshman season so far, just in case you need it) to watch the preview.

I didn’t expect to enjoy this show as much as I do. I truly love it.

Very good reboot. Well done. This should be a good winter finale. BTW – They best not kill Trish – I’m just sayin….

My husband and I love this show. We came for Damon Wayans but really, the whole cast has good chemistry and the show has good writers. Last night’s episode was good. Wishing TV Line would give us some recaps.
