Once Upon a Time Black Fairy

Ratings: Once Upon a Time Ticks Up

ABC’s Once Upon a Time this Sunday drew 3.3 million total viewers and a 1.0 rating, ticking down to its second-smallest audience ever yet rising a tenth from its most recent episode’s all-time demo low.

Leading out of that, Secrets and Lies (2.8 mil/0.7) and Quantico‘s fall finale/final Sunday outing (2.3 mil/0.7) were both steady in the demo, though dipping in audience.

Over on NBC, Sunday Night Football (17.3 mil/5.8) was up a bit from last week’s fast nationals. Bob’s Burgers, Fox’s lone fresh ‘toon, was steady at 2.4 mil/1.1

Pending adjustment due to NFL overrun, CBS’ NCIS: Los Angeles (10.7 mil/1.4) is currently leading all scripted Sunday fare in both measures, though down a tenth week-to-week. Madam Secretary (7.5 mil/0.9) and Elementary (4.7 mil/0.6) are also both currently down a tenth.

NFL overruns are killing ELEMENTARY. Such a good show but frustrating that it airs nearly an hour late. Do us a favor, CBS. Just plan for your football games to run until 8 PM. If they fall short, then fill the void with pigskin chatter. That way we can count on our programs when we expect them!

Even if CBS did do that, it still would not help Elementary since, for whatever reason, CBS NEVER preempts 60 Minutes. Ever. So that would kick off at 8 rather than 7 and so on. Elementary would be pushed to 11. I think Elementary having low ratings to begin with is why it was shoved to the Sunday Wasteland spot, to just have more episodes for syndication. Sadly, I’m betting this is its last season and it gets the boot come May 2017.

OUAT edging up good but still not great numbers. Not a surprise that Quantico is moving. Hope those numbers for NCIS LA stay.

What an epic SNF game last night! Looking forward to the rematch on Christmas Day!

OUAT ticked up because of Jaime Murray.

Arguably the worst/lamest use of Jaime Murray ever.

Emma, Hook and good Regina have never been more boring.
Nobody cares about Agrabah, enuff already.
And Rumple and the Evil Queen, once nuanced and complicated characters, are now cartoonish, 2 dimensional echoes of what they were.
    Blah, blah, bleh.
End it already so these people can go find better work elsewhere.
    Ugh. Sad.

    Elementary deserves so much better.

I agree that elementary deserves better. As for ouat, belle is becoming a one note shrew. Rumple isn’t even trying to woo her anymore. Evil queen and gold somewhat interesting. I hope they are wasting time on agrabah to some purpose. Right now it is too much of a split. Since when does Emma not fight back against the odds? Now that she acknowledged her love for hook, she’s playing it safe. The show is better when each plotline moves forward ever episode even while an episode is mostly about one or two
