  1. Wordsmith says:

After a wildly disorienting pilot, I’m loving how Dirk Gently is coming together over the course of the season.
Max Landis may be an eccentric caricature of all the things people tend to disdain about Millennials, but I really enjoy the quirky products that he turns out.
    Bring on season 2!

  2. V.J. says:

Oh, this is great news. I only watched the pilot because I wasn´t sure if they would get renewed. This seems to be one of those series where you can´t watch while writing an email to your aunt or something. Now I have something fun to watch over the Christmas holidays.

  3. Robert says:

I almost gave up on this after the pilot. It is the craziest show but a lot of fun. Glad I stuck with it

  4. Bella says:

I really sass that hoopy Dirk Gently. There’s a frood who really knows where his towel is!

Excitement, adventure and really wild things! White mice! Electric thingys! What more could anyone want from a show!

  5. Alec says:

    Dirk Gently is sooooooo good

  6. Mitsotakis says:

Oh Netflix, why are you wasting your money on this? So bad if we could have gotten something better instead.

  7. TJ. Church says:

SO glad to read there’s going to be more “Dirk Gently”!!

While I tuned in partly due to Adams’ books being mentioned years ago by one of my first TV (& music) idols, I have not touched the books, largely to avoid spoilers.

However, I spent part of this weekend’s episode Googling the oft-mentioned disease, & read something in an article about how few episodes would be involved, so beyond happy to read there will be more.

  8. B says:

Dirk Gently is the strangest show I think I’ve ever seen. Every episode also seems over in a flash. I’m thrilled that it’s been renewed.

  9. Alex says:

Excellent show, please create a sequel soon, a worthy replacement show Doctor Who
