Ratings: Lucifer Hits 4-Week High; Timeless and Scorpion Tick Up

Fox’s Lucifer this Monday drew 3.9 million total viewers and a 1.1 rating (per finals), rising 11 and 10 percent to its second-largest audience of the season and a 4-week demo high.

Opening Fox’s night, Gotham (3.6 mil/1.2) was steady.

Elsewhere in Ratingsland….

THE CW | With NFL preemption factored out, Supergirl (2.4 mil/0.7) was steady while Jane the Virgin (930K/0.3) dipped.

ABC | Dancing With the Stars (11.3 mil/1.6) drew a best-since-premiere audience while steady in the demo; Conviction (4.3 mil/0.8) oddly surged 19 and 33 percent. Hmmm.

CBS | Kevin Can Wait (7.1 mil/1.6), Man With a Plan (6.2 mil/1.3) and 2 Broke Girls (5.2 mil/1.3) each ticked down, Odd Couple (4.7 mil/1.0) was steady and Scorpion (7.2 mil/1.2) rose a tenth.

Timeless is really good. Too bad it’s going to land in cancellation land

  2. Kevin says:

Timeless feels like a roller coaster ride in an amusement park and always my favorite new show of the season. BTW, don’t called Rufus Kanye (LOL).

Lucifer has really been good this season, a big improvement story-wise over season 1. The one negative I have is Tricia Helfer’s addition to the cast. I don’t know if the writers a playing a long game with “dear old Mum,” but she’s uninteresting and adds nothing to the overall story. A shame because I’m a huge Tricia Helfer fan.

Happy Lucifer went up in the ratings. New season been really good so far.

Glad to see people catching on to Lucifer although it has become extremely serialized with Mom and siblings as continuing stories. Still, it’s terrific actors and crime of the week stuff is worth it.

Good for Lucifer and Gotham for staying steady. I hope they can keep these numbers after they come back from hiatus

Woohoo on Conviction!! Too bad it’s already on the chopping block. Really loving the show and will finish all the episodes they have. Just wish more people would have watched it

Glad to see Timeless up. The show can be a bit uneven at times, but I like the characters enough to keep watching.

I’m truly enjoying Lucifer and Timeless. I was skeptical in the beginning but these 2 shows have won me over. The acting and chemistry is top notch on both shows.

We love this show!!! It is the best show on tv now!! Tom Ellis is perfect as Lucifer. He looks like he has so much fun in that role. It is the one show we look forward to each week. We hope it is renewed for many more seasons!
