Ratings Hawaii Five-0150th

Ratings: Five-0 Rises, Tops Night With 150th Episode; MacGyver Also Up

With baseball now riding the pine, CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 this Friday drew 9.4 million total viewers to its 150th episode, while scoring a 1.2 rating — up 11 and 20 percent week-to-week and leading the night in that demo.

Bookending the milestone hour, MacGyver (7.6 mil/1.1) rose 22 percent in the demo while Blue Bloods (9.6 mil/1.1) was steady (while drawing Friday’s largest audience, as it does).

Over on The CW, Vampire Diaries (1 mil/0.4) ticked up, but Crazy Ex (560K/0.2) was flat.

Fox’s The Exorcist returned to 1.9 mil and a 0.7, matching its most recent numbers.

ABC’s Last Man Standing (6.2 mil/1.1) and Dr. Ken (4.2 mil/0.8) were steady, while Shark Tank (5.2 mil/1.1) slipped two tenths.

He is terrible. He can go!

McGarrett had cheated death after what went down in last season finale. Hope Hawaii Five-O should end after next season (with or without Alex O’Loughlin).

      • Matt Webb Mitovich says:

Why do you wish final seasons on every show? Wouldn’t it be sad to turn on the telly and find static on every channel?

    • QYW says:

Who asked you? Find something else to watch if you hate it so much. SMDH I thought it was great and so is he.

I’m really, really, R E A L L Y worried for Crazy Ex-Girlfriend 😬 It’s my fav show on air, do not understand why so few people are watching.

  3. Jeffrey McGraw says:

I was very disappointed in the ending and couple that with the lead’s assertion he will pack it in after next season,, why should I continue to watch and get the box set in two years. Maybe they could spin off Chin and Kono? Danny seems to be interested when he wants, so why did he take the role to begin with? It’s not called New Jersey 50? Will miss Michael Imperioli.

  4. Kevin says:

Really disappointed about MacGyver ticking up in numbers. When will people ever going to learned a lesson or two about giving up on a crappy and boring remake of an ’80s classic starring Richard Dean Anderson?

    • QYW says:

Seriously, who are you to tell people what to watch or what to give up on or what is crappy and boring? People make their own choices, not some anonymous poster on the internet with an arrogance complex. Yikes, you don’t like the show, change the channel and leave people who do watch it alone.

  5. Eric says:

The ratings basically went back to pre-World Series levels, which usually happens for most shows that go head-to-head with major sporting events.

  6. Carlos Lee says:

Alex aka McGarrett is “H 50” and the show is very physical. 8 years is a long time for a show. I can understand why he wants to call it quits.

I thought the episode itself was great – very disappointed that they couldn’t arrange Scott’s shooting schedule to have him involved in the 150th episode. Just hoping this is finally the end of the far-too-drawn-out Wo-Fat story. Enough already!! Also hoping Chin gets his niece back – loved seeing the fatherhood side of him.

What is the point of the “Wahhhh I hope this thing that someone else enjoys is cancelled” argument?
