High Maintenance Renewed

High Maintenance Renewed at HBO

HBO is saying yes to drugs, renewing pot comedy High Maintenance for a second season. The pickup comes just two weeks into the show’s six-episode rookie season.

“The response to the new episodes exceeded all of our expectations,” said HBO prez Casey Bloys, who called series creators Katja Blichfeld and Ben Sinclair are “brilliant, unconventional storytellers and we’re excited to see what they dream up for us in our second season.”

TVLine readers gave the Sept. 16 premiere an average B grade.

Haven’t watched since I stopped in 2nd half of episode 1. Are they still over the top with the male homosexuality?

    • 'A' Got a Secret says:

Ya they’re still over the top male HOMOSEXUALITY & I’m loving it. And rumor has it that season 2 will be all about “over the top male HOMOSEXUALITY”. From now on all the tv shows, music, news, movies, radio, etc are going to have over the top male HOMOSEXUALITY.
Over the top male HOMOSEXUALITY everywhere.

I’m not totally sure how these things work but I’m pretty sure it was under the top.

No. They change it with each episode.

Really enjoying this series so far. I really didn’t the anthology, yet vaguely related structure of each episode.
