Stranger Things Steve Jean-Ralphio

Stranger Things' Steve Finally Meets His 'Son,' Parks and Rec's Jean-Ralphio

Stranger Things is truly the gift that keeps on giving.

Viewers of the hit Netflix sci-fi series have emphatically pointed out that Joe Keery — who plays Steve, the jerk with a heart of gold — bears an eery resemblance to Jean-Ralphio, Ben Schwartz’s character from Parks and Recreation. In fact, their similarities have even prompted fans to (jokingly) speculate that Steve could actually be Jean-Ralphio’s father, since Stranger Things is set in the early 1980s.

If you’re a fan who subscribes to that theory — and even if you’re not, honestly — prepare to have your mind blown:

The Instagram video, posted by Schwartz on Tuesday, finally unites “dad and son.” (He also tweeted a weirdly adorable father-son shaving photo, which you can see above.)

Still confused? Allow Schwartz to explain the supposed connection himself:
