Jesse Plemons on Friday Night Lights Movie Prospects, Fargo Regrets, More

They say you can’t go home again. And that’s certainly true for Jesse Plemons when it comes to Fargo. “I wish [series creator] Noah [Hawley] hadn’t killed [my character] off,” the Emmy-nominated actor admitted to TVLine’s Michael Ausiello on the red carpet Sunday.

However, if the Friday Night Lights movie ever really happens, Plemons could still revisit his role of Landry. And “if it’s a story that needs to be told, then yeah,” he’d be into it, he said.

Although “I sort of liked the way that it ended for Landry,” he hastened to add. “He just sort of was there and then gone.”

  1. I plan to binge FNL sometime this winter, after football season. In the meantime, I will YouTube the Amy Schumer parody if I need a fix. FNL is maybe my favorite all-time series, and I miss Landry, Saracen, Tyra and Riggins every day. Has it really been five years since it ended?
