The Lion Guard Cast

Hamilton Star Renee Elise Goldsberry Roars for Disney Junior's Lion Guard

Renee Elise Goldsberry‘s career is coming full circle (of life) with her next small-screen role.

The Tony Award-winning star of Broadway’s Hamilton will lend her voice to Dhahabu the Golden Zebra on an upcoming episode of Disney Junior’s The Lion Guard, TVLine has learned. Dhahabu is described as the “charismatic leader of a group of zebras.”

Goldsberry made her Broadway debut playing Nala in The Lion King in 2002.

Best known by TV fans for playing The Good Wife‘s Geneva Pine, Goldsberry was recently cast in a new Netflix sci-fi drama Altered Carbon, which is set in a futuristic world where the human mind can be digitally transferred from one body to another.
