Ratings: American Ninja Warrior Returns to Season Highs, Wins Night

NBC’s American Ninja Warrior returned from its Olympics hiatus to 7 million total viewers and a 1.9 demo rating, rising 19 percent from its most recent outing to hit and tie season highs and easily lead the night in both measures.

ANW in fact delivered its largest audience in almost a year, since Aug. 31, 2015.

Leading out of that, Running Wild (4.1 mil/1.3) returned up 30 and 18 percent.

Over on ABC, Bachelor in Paradise (5.2 mil/1.6) was up 10 percent and two tenths, while Mistresses (2.5 mil/0.6) grew 19 percent and a tenth.

Fox’s So You Think You Can Dance (2.6 mil/0.7) was flat.
