Zoo Season 2 Ratings

Ratings: Zoo, Bachelor in Paradise Rise; Olympics Draw Third-Lowest Numbers

CBS’ recently renewed Zoo this Tuesday drew 4 million total viewers and a 0.7 demo rating (per finals), up 11 percent and a tenth week-to-week.

Over on ABC, Bachelor in Paradise (4.4 mil/1.3) rose 10 percent and two tenths, while After Paradise (2.4 mil/0.6) ticked up.

NBC’s coverage of the summer Olympics drew 24.1 mil and a 6.9, on par with Monday’s final numbers yet off 20 and 27 percent from Night 11 of the London games. Tuesday’s broadcast marks Rio’s third-lowest competition numbers (besting only Nights 7 and 8).

Honestly, I think NBC and other news outlets are driving down the numbers of Olympics viewers themselves. NBC Nightly News and others routinely report on the results of events that will air during primetime that night, which makes me lose interest in watching, so I turn on something else.
