Britney Spears to Join James Corden for Late Late Show Carpool Karaoke

Britney Spears soon will slide into the passenger seat for James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke Late Late Show bit, and you can insert your own “Drive Me Crazy” joke here.

The pop star will sing alongside Corden during the Thursday, Aug. 25, episode of his CBS late night show, the network announced Wednesday at the Television Critics Association summer press tour in Beverly Hills.

Spears’ new album, Glory, drops Aug. 26. She joins a spate of recent Carpool Karaoke warblers that includes First Lady Michelle Obama, Missy Elliott, Selena Gomez, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Audra McDonald (Private Practice), Jesse Tyler Ferguson (Modern Family), Jane Krakowski (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt), Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato.

What hits do you hope Spears will cover during her stint in Corden’s car? Tell us in the comments below!

It’s going to be awesome with Britney joining James Corden for Carpool Karaoke. Hope they booked Christina Aguilera, Alicia Keys or maybe Fifth Harmony for their considerations.

Will she sing along to a pre recorded track? LMAO 😂

They need to space out each Carpool Karaoke a bit more. The program has been on just over a year and they already have over 20 segments. They’ve also had a special that aired during the anniversary period. They need to slow these down to just one every few months to keep it fresh, not to tire it out.

Let this be the last one for now and wait a while to continue.

If someone bald jumps out and attacks the windows of the SUV with an umbrella at a stop sign is the only thing that would interest me about watching this!
