The Voice Season 11 Mentors Cast

The Voice: Bette Midler, Charlie Puth, Two More Sign On as Season 11 Mentors

Contestants on The Voice‘s upcoming Season 11 will have a little extra wind beneath their wings, thanks to the addition of several recently announced mentors.

Bette Midler, Charlie Puth, Sammy Hagar and Joan Jett will give contestants of the NBC reality music competition their sage counsel, Voice host/Today anchor Carson Daly announced Thursday on NBC’s morning talk show.

Midler will assist Voice coach Blake Shelton and Hagar will join Adam Levine; Puth and Jett will advise contestants coached by Season 11 additions Alicia Keys and Miley Cyrus, respectively.

NBC will air a special half-hour episode of The Voice on Sunday, Aug. 21, at 10:30/9:30c, following the closing ceremony of the Summer Olympics. The episode, which will consist entirely of blind auditions, will also mark Cyrus and Keys’ debut.

Joan Jett can barely sing,so that will be worthwhile…

  2. steven says:

Yeah, Charlie Puth was only One Call Away, but will he be there to save the show from the presence of Miley Cyrus?

Stopped watching when they added Cyrus and this isn’t enough to bring me back

  4. MightyMatt says:

I’ve never watched more than 5 minutes of this show but if Bette’s on, I’ll give it another chance.

  5. Fuchsia says:

What difference does these guest mentors make? No contestant from “The Voice” has had any lasting success.

Don’t mention Jordan Smith. He’s the pet project of the Burnetts.

‘The Voice” is only concerned about marketing the judges and the iTunes singles sales.

  6. Keith says:

Hagar and Jett need to be mentioned before Puth

  7. OMG…….I AM SOOOOOO LET DOWN RIGHT NOW😡. Of all the people that you could put on the show you chose MILEY CYRUS???????????? I NEVER MISS THIS SHOE AND WAS SO LOOKING FORWARD TO WATCHING IT THIS FALL BUT NOW I COULD CARE LESS…..WHAT A BAD, BAD DECISION. SHE IS SO TRASHY!!!!!!!!!!!

They had her on as a mentor last season, and it was shicking how excellent of a coach she was. I’m not a fan of her recent shenanigans (yup, she’s having her ‘trashy phase’), but it was crystal clear that she’s been in the biz since she was child and she’s a pro. She’ll grow up… I think she’s doing that right now with this choice.

Please. Stay away! Now, it will be a good season without all the whining about Mikey.
