Orphan Black's Final Season Will Put You Through the 'Happy/Sad Wringer'

The end is near for Orphan Black, and neither Tatiana Maslany, Tatiana Maslany, Tatiana Maslany nor Tatiana Maslany are happy about it.

COMIC-CON 2016 Exclusive Videos, Casting News, Scoop and More

Visiting Michael Ausiello — for the last time? — at TVLine’s Comic-Con studio presented by ZTE, the BBC America series’ star, along with Kevin Hanchard, Kristian Bruun, clone double Kathryn Alexandre and Jordan Gavaris, shared their mixed feelings about Season 5 marking the end of this wild ride.

From the sound of it, viewers will feel all sorts of things — going through a “happy/sad wringer,” as executive producer Graeme Manson put it — as those final episodes play out.

In the video Q&A above, the topics also include the possibility of introducing another clone in Season 5, and which of Sarah’s sestras is most “painful” for Maslany and Alexandre to play.

As an added bonus, Emmy nominee Maslany pulls off one of her better bits of acting when Ausiello asks her about how the series will end!

Tat’s little nod about knowing how the series ends totally convinced me for a second haha. Great interview! I’m so stoked for the last season and hopefully more Krystal.
Also I have to get me one of those Hamilton Arrow shirts.

I absolutely want them to go out on top and not overstretch the story. And I am sooo sad that next season will be the last. I adore this show and will miss it so much.

I only recently discovered this brilliant show. Tatiana deserves an Emmy for her diverse and creative acting. So many superior shows are now being produced in Canada like this one. American studios should take notice and find less expensive venues.

Every time I see a cast picture of them I think “wait, where’s the rest?”

I didn’t start watching until after I watched an interview with the main three characters of season 1 and while watching season 1 the whole time I always forget it’s just one woman. (And the double, we can’t short change her.)

One thing though…I know the sarah character is supposed to be a bit grungy but this past season her undone hair and lack of makeup and lip gloss or lip stick on tv made it a bit much to watch especially in close ups. Allison and Rachel are much more pleasant to watch and even Helena.
