Fear the Walking Dead Season 2B Trailer Finds Nick in a New Kind of Danger

Friday at Comic-Con, AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead dropped the trailer for the second half of Season 2, and based on the action-packed clip, it would appear that our embattled survivors didn’t just trade California for Mexico, they also traded the frying pan for the fire.

Blood-spattered and stylish, the video shows Strand, Madison, Alicia and Ofelia checking into a (Mexican Horror Story?) hotel and quickly coming to regret it, Chris proving to his dad that he can protect himself, and Nick running afoul of a whole bunch of new characters in Tijuana.

One of the newbies, played by Prison Break’s Danay Garcia, Michael Ausiello just interviewed at TVLine’s Comic-Con studio presented by ZTE. Another, claiming that he and his neighbors have been “chosen,” suggests that the apocalypse is “a test,” which they will win by outlasting death.

  1. Carter says:

Now that looked promising. The first half of the season was a bit rough but the second half looks good to me.

  2. Simon says:

That actually grabbed my interest into this show again. Anyone else get a flashback to Shaun of the Dead, with all those walkers around the bar.

  3. Bleech says:

Guess being in a zombie apocalypse has helped Nick forget his drug withdrawals.

  4. Joey Padron says:

The trailer for new episodes looks really good. Excited to see new episodes next month!

  5. Hate it says:

NO WAY this show will suck me in again. No thanks

  6. AnnieM says:

Good trailer. Maybe the characters will be more interesting now that they are all split up in different groups. Glad to see them away from the boat for awhile.

  7. Fear the Walking Bad Acting says:

I sincerely hope they put this show out of it’s misery and cancel the stupid thing after they realise that extending it for another season was a waste of our time and theirs too. To even try to say its nearly as good or will ever be as good as the Walking Dead should be an offense. If nothing else then for season 2 they should at least axe Alicia Clark, she is the worst by far and the actress has become full of herself and dare I say it, a shocking role model. No thanks, I’m done with it all!!
