Drew Barrymore Talk Show

Drew Barrymore, TV Talk Show Host?

Daytime TV may be getting some flower power.

Drew Barrymore and Warner Bros. Television are in early negotiations for a deal that could include a syndicated talk show headlined by the star of such films as The Wedding Singer and Never Been Kissed, The Wrap reports.

Sources tell The Wrap that the daytime chatfest could premiere as early as fall 2017, but it is hardly a done deal. It’s also possible that the pact may instead yield a reality-TV show.

Barrymore — whose production company Flower Films was behind the movies Never Been Kissed, Charlie’s Angels, Donnie Darko, 50 First Dates and many others — stars opposite Justified‘s Timothy Olyphant in the upcoming Netflix comedy Santa Clarita Diet.

A rep for Warner Bros. declined to comment.

Well her best friend is Chelsea Handler. I guess she wants to try being in the opposite role…

Oh good grief not another talk show. They’re so predictable they’re boring. I’d rather watch reruns of primetime TV shows. Or even of shows from another era. Anything but another talk show no matter who’s hosting it.

I’m not sure if you get networks like Metv, Cozi, Antenna, THIS, etc, but those and some other networks (in my area at least) are solely dedicated to shows from other eras.

    No…just no.

I really like Drew, but I don’t think this is a good idea.

I really like Drew Barrymore but her voice is annoying. I say no.
