Person of Interest Sneak Peek: Will POI Greer Be a Perpetrator... or Victim?

The Person of Interest in the penultimate episode of CBS’ Person of Interest (airing tonight at 10/9c) is, to say the least, a doozy.

As revealed in this exclusive sneak peek from the 12th episode of Season 5, titled “.exe” (as in “executable”), Samaritan overlord John Greer’s number is up. And with Finch out there somewhere going solo/rogue, Reese and Shaw can only wonder: Might their longtime adversary (played by John Nolan) fall into the category of “victim POI”?

Per the official synopsis for the episode, Harold “infiltrates a maximum-security government facility in a desperate mission which could mean the end for not only Samaritan, but for himself and The Machine as well.”

Next Tuesday, in the series finale titled “return 0,” the team must “embark on one last suicide mission to prevent Samaritan from destroying The Machine and cementing its hold over mankind” — which undoubtedly would suck.

Watch the sneak peek and tell us: Are you prepared for POI‘s end?

Jonah Nolan: Yes this season for Root haters. We and Greg are her biggest haters we never really cared for her and her fans. Period.

We casually fridged our best female character for shock value and to give her voice to The Machine™ @POI wankers

I don’t know how any longtime POI fan is anything but pleased with this season. It reminds me so much of the first couple of seasons, which were must see TV. And I think episode 100 was one of the top 3 episodes of the entire series. I expect POI to go out with a bang, but I wish it wasn’t over yet.
