Larry David Hosts SNL

Video: Bernie Sanders Formally Endorses Larry David for 'President'

Bernie Sanders wants four more years of ‘Bernie Sanders.’

In an outtake from his appearance on Real Time with Bill Maher, the presidential hopeful officially voted to keep his comedic doppelgänger (and onetime co-starLarry David employed at Saturday Night Live through 2020.

“I think he’s one of the funniest guys in America,” Sanders enthused in the below video. “I want to see him continue to be funny on television for the next four years.”

And just in case the subtext of Sanders’ ringing endorsement didn’t register, he added, “Vote for Bernie Sanders for President.”

Check out the video and then hit the comments with an answer to this question: Would SNL benefit from four more years of Sanders?

He seems like a truly decent guy.
It’s a shame I don’t support a single one of his financial policies.

Yeah I’m a 30-year-old Democrat and I often feel like I’m living in a weird Sanders echo chamber. My state’s primary has already passed, but I’m less inclined to vote for him now than I was six months ago.

He has great ideas, but we all will be heavily taxed to pay for them.

    • As opposed to the 90% of us that are heavily taxed while the millionaires don’t pay their fair share and hide their money in LLC overseas accounts?

    • Jake, Excluding people with incomes exceeding 7 to 10 figures a year, please explain how Bernie’s policies will “Heavily” tax any one person in America. Please, do not forget to calculate the savings from his policies back into your final taxed amount. Spoiler Alert: your numbers will prove it’s insane NOT to adopt Bernie’s policies. The numbers that aren’t sustainable are the one’s coming from the economic path the middle and working class have been on for the last 30+ yrs following the debunked economic plan known as, Supply Side Economics, AKA, Trickle Down, or Reaganomics.

And how many of his ideas are along the lines of “Instead of paying subsidies to oil companies and banks…”?
