Voice Season 10 Finale Ratings

Ratings: Voice Championship Tops DWTS, Flash Ticks Down With Finale

After settling for a tie with ABC’s Bachelorette on Monday, NBC’s The Voice easily topped Dancing With the Stars on Tuesday, in a battle of championship ceremonies.

The Voice led the night in both measures with 10.4 million total viewers and a 2.1 demo rating, though down 18 and 28 percent from its previous coronation ceremony. DWTS meanwhile drew 10.3 mil and a 1.6, hitting and tying season lows and dropping 24 and 33 percent from its previous Mirror Ball Trophy hand-off.

Opening ABC’s night, Fresh Off the Boat‘s season finale (4.9 mil/1.2) saw its best audience since Feb. 2 while rising a tenth in the demo. Real O’Neals (4.2 mil/1.0) also ticked up.

Elsewhere in the ratings….

THE CW | The Flash (3.3 mil/1.2) dipped a tenth week-to-week and was off 15 and 20 percent from its freshman finale. Containment (1.5 mil/0.5) was steady.

CBS | The Price Is Right (6.4 mil/1.1) slipped two tenths from Monday’s primetime edition. A double pump of Person of Interest did 5.3 mil/0.9 and 4.9 mil/0.9, both down from last Tuesday’s NCISes-assisted 7 mil/1.1.

FOX | Hotel Hell (2.5 mil/0.8) dropped hard from its previous, long-ago season premiere (4 mil/1.5). Coupled (1.3 mil/0.5) dropped some eyeballs vs. its debut but was steady in the demo.

The voice was BORING this season. Predictable winners the last three go-a-rounds is really hurting the show in my opinion. Alison was the producer pick from day #1, just like Jordan and Sawyer. If this show wants to last Mark Burnett and the other producers, need to stop with this force fed agenda. I think Alison was third best this season yet she wins, YAWN

The Voice should be BORING come September when Miley Cyrus is coming but I have high hopes for Alicia Keys. BTW, are Adam and Blake coming back in the Fall?

The Big Brother edition of TPIR was boring although I enjoyed seeing Julie Chen having a good time skewering her image and making fun of the whole premise. Dr. Will needs to step away from the botox. I’m not sure when the episode was filmed, but didn’t Rachel have her baby already?

    • Kevin K says:

There’s a reason why Frankie Grande was on the episode last night. Rachel Reynolds (Jessica Simpson look alike) who’s one of the TPIR models and has been on the show for 13 years (retire as a model isn’t on her mind now) already had a baby and her name is Ruby Rey. In my opinion, Price is Right is really turning into a freak show and Mike Richards who’s the EP on the show is the most overrated producer in daytime TV history.

We enjoyed the POI double-header last night, especially the first episode, QSO. Will miss this show.

Good grief, TV is just awful right now! It’s no wonder I am spending more time watching Castle and Gilmore Girls marathons or baseball than the major networks!

The top 4 from The Voice are all doing astoundingly very, very well today in the Pop, Country or Blues category on itunes today.

Kinda sad. Have enjoyed getting to know Laith, Hannah, Bryan & Adam this time. Darius, Madi & Amy last time. Sawer, Koryn, & Mia the previous. Et al. But these obvious faves are a problem. The montages are too. And the Lives massacre. And the Semis massacre. Is this any way to run a popular singing show?
