West Wing Reunion: Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford 'Walk-and-Talk' on The Late Late Show — WATCH

Crafting James Corden’s monologue is serious business — so much so that it sometimes requires a walk-and-talk with White House Press Secretary C.J. Cregg and Deputy Chief of Staff Josh Lyman.

Allison Janney and Bradley Whitford reprised their iconic West Wing roles on the Late Late Show Wednesday to help the CBS funnyman put together a tight opening act featuring hilarious one-liners about presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump and probable Cinco de Mayo festivities. The fourth wall was eventually broken when the trio contemplated whether it made sense to do a West Wing sketch in the year 2016.

Watch the mini-reunion play out above.

  1. When did Whitford get so old? Damn.

I still love TWW. Amazing cast.

  2. lariet50 says:

I was looking at the picture for this story on the homepage thinking “Where’s Bradley? Who’s that white-haired guy?” Dear LORD, I didn’t recognize him! Conversely, Allison Janney DOES NOT AGE.

  3. ToyCannon says:

Twice in the last week Allison Janney has channeled C.J. Cregg. Do I detect a Netflix revival of The West Wing in the future?

  4. michaeldshea says:

Wow, the jokes in that were painful. How did this guy get this gig?

    • David4 says:

I ask myself this question all the time and I thought I was the only one who didn’t think he was funny at all.

The best part of this is when they went “Why don’t we go into your office, that is right there, and talk?”

      • Patrick says:

What drives me crazy about him is that he constantly turns the conversation back around to himself, no matter who he is interviewing.

  5. Ro says:

I miss TWW!!! Bradley looks great,

  6. Man, I miss this show! There needs to be a real reunion. Something like they all come together to work for a think tank or run a foundation.
