Wayward Pines Is Back: Watch a Creepy Season 2 Teaser Now!

“Where are we?” asks Jason Patric’s character, somewhere deep within a bunker, in a new teaser for Season 2 of Fox’s Wayward Pines.

He needn’t hear the ominous, crescendoing piano line behind him to realize something’s a little off about the entire scene, although you’ll have the added benefit of said soundtrack as you get an exclusive look at the video embedded above.

As you’ll see, some old favorites are making encores — Carla Gugino, Terrence Howard, Melissa Leo, to name a few. Oh, and the abbies are back, too — though if you blink, you might miss their terrifying forms zipping through the darkened woods.

Wayward Pines‘ second season — premiering Wednesday, May 25 at 8/7c — will find Patric’s Dr. Theo Yedlin “thrust into a civil war in a town where martial law is at work,” according to executive producer M. Night Shyamalan.

I LOOOOOVVVVVE Jason Patric. He is so handsome and such a wonderful and underrated actor. I cannot wait to see what he brings to this show and frankly how all these great actors will propel this story Last years show had its up and downs, but was still thrilling. This year looks amazing.

Yet another show that was supposed to have been a “one and done” (like “Under the Dome”).
