Ratings: The Family, Good Wife Hold Steady vs. Game of Thrones

ABC’s The Family this Sunday drew 2.9 million total viewers and a 0.8 demo rating, holding steady opposite Game of Thrones‘ much-ballyhooed return* over on HBO.

Bookending the family thriller, Once Upon a Time (3.8 mil/1.2) and Quantico (3.4 mil/1.0) were also steady, with the former tying AFHV and The Simpsons for the nightly demo win.

Elsewhere in the ratings….

CBS | Madam Secretary (9.5 mil/1.0) commanded broadcast’s largest audience while ticking up in the demo. The Good Wife (8.4 mil/1.0) and Elementary (5.2 mil/0.7) were steady.

NBC | Leading out of a Little Big Shots rerun (6.8 mil/1.1), The Carmichael Show (3.6 mil/0.7) and Crowded (3 mil/0.7) both slipped sharply.

FOX | Bordertown (1.2 mil/0.4) and Last Man on Earth (2.1 mil/0.9) ticked down, The Simpsons (2.8 mil/1.2) was steady, Bob’s Burgers (2.3 mil/1.1) rose a tenth and a Simpsons rerun (1.4 mil/0.6) improved on Cooper Barrett‘s most recent numbers by 50 percent.

* Cable ratings famously come in much, much later, reported under separate cover as merited.
