CBS’ Survivor this Wednesday drew 9.2 million total viewers and a 2.0 demo rating, up 10 percent and a tenth to hit four- and three-week highs.

Leading out of that, Criminal Minds (9 mil/1.7) was steady, while Beyond Borders (7.5 mil/1.3) slipped two tenths.

Elsewhere in the ratings….

ABC | Leading out of a rerun-palooza, bubble drama Nashville (3.7 mil/0.8) ticked down to hit and tie series lows.

NBC | Heartbeat (4 mil/0.8) inched up.

FOX | Rosewood (4.6 mil/1.2) was steady, while Empire (9.4 mil/3.6) dipped 7 percent and two tenths to its lowest numbers since Thanksgiving Eve.

Wow Survivor just keeps on going and got near Empire’s HH numbers to boot. Stunned to see Empire go down more I thought they might tick back up. Good for Criminal minds as well staying near HH numbers against Empire( I know they don’t count but not too long ago Empire had lots more live viewers) Even Rosewood isn’t getting that bump from them anymore

This Maddie crap is killing Nashville IMO. And I’m not gonna lie, Criminal Minds just isn’t that good without Shemar Moore. It was his relationship/friendship with Reid and Penelope that made the show fun, now it’s just case of the week blah blah.

    • Bwhit says:

Agree…. Dream headline sometime before the season ends: Nashville rises after Rayna and Deacon send Maddie to boarding school.

    • opus says:

Don’t the producers and writers of Nashville know how much Maddie is already hated? And should she be the cause of Rayna and Deacon breaking up, the character will be hated even more.

      • iHeart says:

hey who said they were breaking up? besides? didn’t I hear that Nashville would get new showrunners should to show get season 5?

  3. Mark says:

Survivor has been epically good this season. It’s no surprise that the ratings are going up.

For me it started out slow but these last couple of weeks really picked up. Tai really shocked me last night, good for him doing what he wanted to do this time and not what Jason and Scot wanted. I wonder if they’ll put that idol back into play so they will still have the threat of the super idol?

      • bj says:

Jason had already given Scott the idol. Scott walked out with Jason’s hidden immunity idol in his pocket. He should have given it to Scot after Tai did, but instead he handed it to Scot before Tribal Council, so once Scot was voted out, he couldn’t give it back because he was already officially out of the game. So now it’s gone. Tai is the only one who still has one.

        • wrstlgirl says:

Um yes, I know all this. That’s why I’m wondering if they will put that idol BACK INTO PLAY, so they will still have the threat of the super idol.

    • Ben says:

The ratings have pretty much been flat across the season, and from season to season. It’s great that it just keeps holdings viewers, because it goes from strength to strength.

  4. I thought they never could top off the EPIC previous season finale,,,

But every freaking week is more epic and surprising this season !!!!

  5. A says:

Had low expectations from this season of Survivor coz previous season was so good but this season is going strong, yay
& Tvline needs to start recaps of Survivor since they recap even shows like Bachelor & Bachelorette, common tvline, please

  6. Glad to see that Criminal Minds is up from last week. But I do have to agree with another commenter here that it isn’t the same without Shemar. I loved the Morgan and Reid relationship, who didn’t? And we can see that Reid is more affected by this new loss in his life as opposed to Maeve. (Which was a mistake but that’s a whole other kettle of fish)

    I liked Heartbeat
