Bones Sneak Peek: Hodgins' True (and Angry) Feelings Come Out at Work

On this Thursday’s Bones (Fox, 8/7c), wheelchair-bound Hodgins says goodbye to denial and hello to anger — and he makes the transition right in front of his colleagues!

After learning that he will never walk again in last week’s episode, the doc sees the Jeffersonian lab, with all its staircases and high platforms, in a new light in this exclusive video.

Sure, there’s a special lift, but between his sullen expression and caustic remark to Cam about crippling himself, Hodgins is hardly thrilled about having to use it as a “messed up” person. Ouch.

Press PLAY above to watch the sneak peek, then hit the comments with your thoughts on Hodgins’ struggle.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

I’m glad that we’ll get to see TJ’s true talent through this storyline. He’s already doing a great job. I feel sorry for what the characters are going through, but the writing seems very strong for this. I’m excited.

Poor Hodgins, this is going to be tough but he will come around. Anger is a natural part of a huge change like this. I am also looking forward to Brennan and her reaction to the meniinist part of the story. Something is going to make her mad enough to slug a suspect and get herself in trouble. Really glad Bones is back!!!

A great sneak peek into this weeks up-coming episode. Hodgins has definitely moved into the anger stage. I just hope that down the road that do not tamper with Angela and Jack’s marriage. I just want to see these two stay together and yes they have major hurdles right now but I want to see their love for one another conquer these hurdles.

re-HODGINS: As unfortunate as his issues are – and real(REALISTIC), I DO BELIEVE THE SITUATION IS BEING OVERPLAYED. TOO MUCH LIP SERVICE TO HIS WIFE – WHO IS BEING PRETTY STOIC ABOUT EVERYTHING – WHICH IS ADMIRABLE…& HIS GUILT TRIPPING (WITH EVERYONE) IS WHAT SOMEONE WITH A SMALL BRAIN MIGHT DO. CERTAINLY NOT THE ATTITUDE/BEHAVIOUR THE VIEWER WOULD EXPECT FROM AN INTELLIGENT, SUPER-CULTURED PERSON. ESPECIALLY IN SUCH AN OBVIOUS, OVERT AND TOTALLY BRUTAL MANNER. “PASSIVE-AGGRESSIVE VIOLENCE” — BESIDES, HODGINS REFUSED FIRST AID ASSISTANCE AND THAT LED TO THE COMPLICATIONS. He made the call, his bad. Enough already.
