NCIS Reiko Aylesworth

NCIS Casts 24 Alum Reiko Aylesworth

NCIS is doubling down on the 24 alumni as Season 13 draws to a close.

Having recently enlisted Sarah Clarke (aka Nina Meyers on the Fox thriller) for a season-ending/potential Season 14 arc, TV’s most watched drama now has cast Reiko Aylesworth in a guest-starring role.

TVLine has learned that Aylesworth will appear in the May 3 episode, “Homefront,” as Anne Marshall, a deployed Marine Master Sergeant’s wife whose 14-year-old son foils a home invasion.

Alas, because Clarke does not debut as FBI agent Tess Monroe until May 10, Matt 24 fans will simply have to make do with their Michelle/Nina fan fic.

Since her three-season run as 24‘s Michelle Dessler, Aylesworth has appeared on such series as ER, Damages, Lost, Hawaii Five-0 and Revolution. Most recently, she guested on ABC’s Castle opposite Desperate Housewives‘ Ricardo Chavira.

  1. Jane says:

    RIP Anne Marshall

  2. Maria says:

Yay!! I always liked her in 24.

  3. Where are the episodes supposed to be focused on Tony/Micheal before he leaves? Is he even in them? I had hoped things would honor his 13 years with the show.

    • Erin says:

What with promoting the potential new cast members, the case story and the usual lion’s share of focus on Gibbs which is always a hallmark of Glasberg’s episodes, one has to wonder whether there will be much time left to give Tony much more than a couple incidental scenes to explain his departure. I guess we’ll see if they really care about featuring DiNozzo with a decent send off. Just to be safe from disappointment I’m not getting my hopes up. They haven’t seemed to care about DiNozzo for several seasons now.

    • 'A' Revived says:

What are you talking about? She’s a GUEST STAR. Its not mainly focusing on her. The team still has to do investigations, you know. The episode airing tomorrow sets up his final arc but you know they can’t just stop everything to focus on him. Were you thinking the show would just air a no-story, honor Michael/Dinozzo only last 4 episodes? Wait until the episodes actually air before sending pointless posts.

      • Max says:

Bless you, Erin (unfortunately) feels that Tony’s character is the star (the ONLY star) and is in constant whine mode about the other cast members. She is known for her “pointless” posts about how it should be Tony, 24-7 and how the focus on Gibbs, (who is the star by the way), should be eliminated, and just be TONY. This passed annoying about three months ago…

You do realize every episode has guest stars? How much time they will take up could be 5 minutes, could be more. These three are just making news, because they may be in the following season. Or did you think DiNozzo would be the only one in these episodes?

  4. Paige says:

Pretty sure the filming at the White House is this episode too. Dennis Smith directed this episode and states he wrapped his last NCIS episode, “Homefront” in “spectacular fashion” with a photo of him at the White House. Dennis always delivers great episodes of the show.

  5. HAP says:

There is a piece of trivia on IMDB that states that Reiko was one of the three finalists for the role of Olivia Benson on L&O:SVU. Fascinating.

  6. Paige says:

Pauley Perrette was a guest star in the first season of 24.

  7. Kevin K says:

Don’t know how many 24 alums appear on NCIS at the time.
