Video: black-ish Pays Homage to Diff'rent Strokes (Theme Song and All!)

Whatchu talkin’ ’bout, black-ish?

Wednesday’s episode of the ABC comedy (9:30/8:30c) tips its hat to the 1978 sitcom Diff’rent Strokes, and we’ve got an exclusive sneak peek at the TV homage.

In the video above, Dre enlists his co-workers to help select a decent legal guardian for his kids, with options ranging from BFF Gigi to rapper Drake — well, at least until Dre finds out he’s Canadian.

But when Mr. Stevens volunteers to look after Dre’s “little black kids” — his words, not ours — the scene turns into a new spin on Diff’rent Strokes‘ opening credits.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!
