Game of Thrones Season 6: New Footage Warns 'We Deserve Death'

According to the High Sparrow in this new Game of Thrones Season 6 teaser, we’re all in serious trouble. “We are sinful creatures. We deserve death. We all do,” he says in the video, though it’s not clear to whom.

And while the rest of the 30-second clip unfolds in similar fashion — stunning visuals, vague voice-overs — fans of the HBO series will be happy to see new glimpses of upcoming episodes (but still no fresh intel on Jon Snow, sorry). There’s a different view of Daenerys walking among the khalasar, Tyrion drinking (shocker), Ramsay on a horse, Jaime ready for battle, a nightmare-inducing silhouette of what we think is the Night’s King, and… is that a giant? (And no, this time we won’t be doing a shot-by-shot analysis.)

Game of Thrones returns Sunday, April 24, at 9/8c. Press PLAY on the video above to see for yourself, then hit the comments with your thoughts on the upcoming season.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  2. Mr. Tran K says:

Five seasons were the best and the same goes for the upcoming sixth season. Should it end after eight?

    • Phoenix5634 says:

To me, I don’t know how it would end in 8. I’d say 10 is more likely, and there has actually been 10 seasons mentioned before. The war between the Starks and the Lannisters lasted 2 full seasons from when they beheaded Ned. And we’ve still got to see the entire War for the Dawn, and the entire Dream of Spring.

      • Phoenix5634 says:

We’re like just starting Winds of Winter basically. So unless they plan to drastically cut away from the detail in the later seasons, which I really they don’t do. They basically have to do more than 8.

        • Glenn Rauch says:

As long as it keeps winning awards and getting people to sign up for HBO, they’ll keep going.

          Why not 12 seasons?

  3. Phoenix5634 says:

Haha omg is that the doors of Winterfell that Wun Wun ( the giant ) is kicking in?!

  4. Phoenix5634 says:

Looks like Drogons’ looking to have some Dothraki BBQ for lunch lol if he senses fear from Dany, then it’s lunchtime haha. Although I kind of hope they rally behind her again, imagine her coming back to Mereen with them haha, the Sons of the Harpies wouldn’t stand a chance.

Still waiting for Nymeria and Arya’s reunion ;)

  6. Phoenix5634 says:

I wonder what it means that we haven’t seen any scenes from Dorne?

  7. Phoenix5634 says:

By the way, there was 3, possibly 4 dragons who survived the Dance of Dragons, so there is a slim possibly there is still other dragons besides Danys 3… And then there’s Et Ti (location)
