Hillary Clinton's 'Easy' Candidacy Hurt by 'Unforced Errors,' Says Trevor Noah

Presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton seems like a shoo-in for the Democratic nomination, but as Trevor Noah points out, she’s making this race to the White House more difficult than it has to be.

On The Daily Show Tuesday, Noah introduced a new segment called “This Should Be Easy” to highlight HRC hiccups that are giving her opponents the material they need to hit her while she’s down. Take for instance her remarks on Nancy Reagan’s alleged AIDS advocacy, or her comment on the number of American lives lost in Libya during her time as Secretary of State.

As far as Noah is concerned, “Benghazi is not an issue that will hurt her with Democratic voters, but she still has to be careful about making that type of unforced error on issues her supporters actually care more about.”

Watch Parts 1 and 2 of the segment below, then sound off in the comments.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

This just shows that Trevor Noah is just reading what other ppl wrote. Honestly wrong choice for this show.

This show is still on the air?

  3. cuius says:

Too many “comedy” shows using the same script – this must be the third or fourth time this has been repeated

If the government does the right thing and indicts her for the various crimes she’s committed then she won’t be the nominee, but the Obama justice dept has too many hypocrites for that to happen.

Whoever actually wrote that segment was dead on. Hillary, based on her vast experience in both domestic and foreign policy ought to be the hands down favorite for the nomination. I have to place a good deal of the blame on her advisers because she should not be making so many mistakes. And anyone that keeps talking about a federal indictment needs to turn off Fox News and right wing talk radio.

Hillary’s track record proves that the only experience she has with domestic and foreign policy is complete failure.

This is an attempt at comedy therapy to ease troubled minds about how horrible a candidate Hillary actually is for the Democratic Party.

If we all laugh a little, we can engage in escapism and ignore our downward spiral into another decade of corporate influence in politics, growing healthcare costs, warmongering and scandals. #BernieOrBust
