Chris Noth Joins Tyrant Season 3

Chris Noth Joins Tyrant Season 3

Peter Florrick’s next power trip will take him overseas.

Hot on the heels of The Good Wife‘s final-season announcement, Chris Noth is seguing into a series-regular role on FX’s Tyrant, TVLine has learned.

Noth is joining the political drama’s upcoming third season as William Cogswell, a U.S. General who, after being summarily transferred out of Abbudin, returns to that country when Bassam “Barry” Al-Fayeed (Adam Rayner) assumes the provisional presidency. Although he initially offers American support, General Cogswell will rise to power as his romantic history with Leila (Moran Atias) reignites, and as his apparent — and hidden — idiosyncrasies are revealed.

Noth’s casting comes five weeks after CBS confirmed that The Good Wife‘s current seventh season would be its last.

Tyrant‘s 10-episode third season will bow later this year.

Is there still talk of a limited run of Law & Order? Would love to see Noth and Waterson work together again.

No intention of EVER watching this in our house.

  3. Todd says:

The first season of Tyrant was okay.

The second season really was not good at all.

I am leaning toward not bothering with Season 3.
