Jenna Fischer in Matt LeBlanc Sitcom

Jenna Fischer to Play Matt LeBlanc's Wife in CBS Family Comedy Pilot

It’s a marriage made in sitcom heaven: The Office‘s Jenna Fischer is set to play Matt LeBlanc‘s wife in the Friends alum’s now-untitled CBS family comedy pilot, TVLine has learned.

Penned by Jeff and Jackie Filgo (That ’70s Show), the multi-camera project stars LeBlanc as Adam, a contractor who learns that raising his kids is more challenging than expected when his wife Andi (Fischer) goes back to work as a medical lab technician. The potential series was originally titled I’m Not Your Friend.

The cast also includes Grace Kaufman (The Last Ship) as Adam and Andi’s oldest child.

Fischer is currently starring in NBC’s comedic-drama You, Me and the Apocalypse. She’ll also be seen later this month playing the controlling onetime fiancée of Rob Lowe’s Dean on Fox’s The Grinder.

Not yet renewed but should be. And as far as Episodes, a 9 episode season is not exactly a time consumer for Leblanc

What happened to Showtime’s Episodes? Cancelled?

Wasn’t that literally the plot to Growing Pains? Don’t get me wrong, the show could be great, but it sounds very “1985.” Lol
