Once Upon a Time Stars Reveal Their Most Challenging Scenes Ever (Video)

Riding imaginary dragons, dispatching with dear old Dad and going vroom on a broom are just some of the more challenging scenes that Once Upon a Time‘s stars have tackled over the course of 100 episodes.

At the ABC drama’s Feb. 20 party in Vancouver to mark the milestone, TVLine invited the cast members who walked the red carpet to name the scene-to-date that had been the most difficult to shoot — either emotionally or physically.

Press play above to hear what Jennifer Morrison, Lana Parrilla, Josh Dallas, Jared Gilmore and others had to say.

Once resumes Season 5, with Episode 100, on Sunday, March 6.

I got to agree the scene between Emma and Hook in the last episode was heartbreaking. Brutal and just devastating to see as a whole when you see just how far they have come and now this tragedy.

  2. Eve says:

Yes. The town line.. It broke so many hearts with that one single tear that dropped from Robin’s eye..

  3. Katie says:

Jen – as difficult as that scene was to film, it was equally difficult to watch. Both she and Colin obviously put their heart and soul into that episode and it really paid off. Everyone I watched it with had tears in their eyes. Bravo!

  4. Denny says:

Imagine crying over and over, same scene for hours! Poor Jen!

  5. Amy says:

I love when the cast comments on scenes they’ve filmed and their characters head space. The scenes that both Dallas and Morrison mentioned were also difficult as a viewer to watch (well for me) so I’m not surprised they were emotionally hard to film especially knowing how many hours go into scenes like that.

  6. sara says:

Lana the best… she is a great actress. The best on the show

  7. JMO: The scene we stole from Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
