Casey Wilson on Grey's Anatomy

Happy Endings' Casey Wilson Checking Into Grey's Anatomy in March

Happy Endings vet Casey Wilson is taking a rare dramatic detour with a guest stint on Grey’s Anatomy, TVLine has confirmed.

Wilson will turn up in the ABC drama’s March 17 episode, which was directed by Grey’s regular Kevin McKidd and also features a guest turn by acting legend Rita Moreno.

According to sources, Wilson — who is currently fielding a half-dozen or so pilot offers — will play a pregnant patient named Courtney who’s emotionally repressed, funny, smart and passionate about her career. (Per the logline for the episode, Wilson’s character is a patient of Arizona’s who’s expecting — wait for it — quadruplets.)

Moreno, meanwhile, will play one half of a married couple who owns any room she walks into.

News of the Wilson and Moreno’s casting was first reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

  1. Mr. Tran K says:

Casey Wilson is always hilarious on Happy Endings not to mention her run on SNL. Can’t wait to see her dramatic turn on Grey’s.

  2. Guy says:

I don’t care about Grey’s, I’m more interested in the pilot offers she is receiving. She needs to be back on TV permanently.

  3. Dennis says:

Man I miss Happy Endings! Truly a rare comedy gem.
Such a mistake to cancel that show, it should have received support from ABC just like NBC supported low-rated 30 Rock.

  4. Eh says:

I love Casey Wilson. I love Grey’s. This totally makes up for last night’s episode. That was by far the worse episode of the last 3 seasons.

  5. Joey Padron says:

Happy she’ll be back on TV soon! Love her on Happy Endings.

  6. rantonio says:

Love love love her.. She also does a podcast called Bitch Sesh about the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. I don’t even watch any of those Housewives shows but her and her cohost also talk a bit of pop culture and it is hilarious.
