Samantha Bee didn’t quite solve the refugee crisis during a recent trip to Jordan, but she did manage to impart wisdom to a room full of Syrians.
On Full Frontal Monday, Bee taught a class of eager refugee hopefuls about what it truly means to be an American, which may or may not involve wearing sweatpants to your wedding and being able to identify classic Whitney Houston films.
She also shares a few key phrases that should help Syrians better assimilate if they’re fortunate enough to migrate to the U.S. (This is all very important — take notes!)
Watch Bee’s class (which begins at the 3:30 mark) in session, then sound off in the comments. (And ICYMI, Part 1 of Full Frontal‘s remote from Jordan is embedded below.)
