Major Crimes Video: What Is Provenza's Beef (or Chicken?) With Buzz?

Major Crimes‘ Provenza is heading for a wedding — and who all gets to attend could very well depend on their answer to the question: “Sesame chicken or rib-eye?”

As seen in this sneak peek from tonight’s episode (TNT, 9/8c), Buzz has a few (unsolicited) ideas on the reception dinner that could cost him an invite to the nuptials. After Provenza grumbles over the budget constraints imposed on him by bride-to-be Patrice, Rusty joins the conversation — only to find his own invite possibly revoked!

Elsewhere in the episode: Sharon and the team rush to capitalize on a shocking discovery made in a church; Sanchez and Stephanie’s connection grows; and Rusty learns that his biological mother’s ex is a fugitive on the run.

“This could be my very last marriage.” Classic Provenza! Thanks for the preview. I loved it.

  3. Carol C says:

Always love getting a peek at MC.

  4. Provenza and Buzz are amazing together, they keep the show honest! :) Thanks for the sneak peek!

  5. Jerri says:

Fugitive on the run? As opposed to a fugitive who isn’t on the run?

  6. Mike says:

Seriously I do not like how Provenza is so mean to him. Why? I have watched this show since it started with The Closer, and his rudeness to Buzz is uncalled for.

    • Rob Tyler says:

I’ve been a fan since day one of The Closer–Provenza has always been the same crusty, sarcastic individual to everyone. He is nice underneath on occasion to most–but, he’s never singled out Buzz for special rudeness. Guess it depends on your perspective–one sees what one wants to.

  7. Cate says:

“There is an uninvited option..” I knew we could count on Provenza for some laughs in in these intense 5 episodes!
