The Path Trailer: Can Hugh Dancy Lure Aaron Paul to the Cult Side?

The Path may lead Aaron Paul to break bad in new ways, as revealed in the full trailer for the Hulu drama (premiering weekly episodes starting Wednesday, March 30).

Created by Jessica Goldberg (Parenthood) and counting Parenthood boss Jason Katims among its executive producers, the series follows a family drawn to the center of a controversial cult as they struggle with relationships, faith and power. Each episode promises “an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want.”

Emmy-winning Breaking Bad alum Paul plays Eddie Cleary, a family man whose self-betterment “retreat” leaves him more changed than he perhaps ever anticipated, causing concern in his wife Sarah (True Detective‘s Michelle Monaghan). Hannibal‘s Hugh Dancy plays Cal Roberts, the enigmatic leader of The Path, while Rockmond Dunbar (Sons of Anarchy) is Abe Gained, a police detective aiming to cut this suspected cult off at the knees.
