Geoff Stults in The Kicker

Geoff Stults to Headline CBS' Sports-Themed Comedy Pilot The Kicker

Enlisted‘s Geoff Stults has been drafted by CBS to star in The Kicker, a sports-themed comedy pilot from Tina Fey and her fellow 30 Rock/Kimmy Schmidt collaborators Robert Carlock and Jack Burditt.

The potential series centers on Daryl Thorkelson, an oddball, outspoken NFL kicker who drives family, friends and strangers insane after he unexpectedly finds himself cut from his team.

Burditt penned the pilot and will serve as an EP alongside Fey and Carlock.

Stults’ TV-packed resume also includes 7th Heaven, October Road, Happy Town and The Finder. He recently popped up on CBS’ The Odd Couple and Zoo, as well as Netflix’s Grace and Frankie.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!
