Pee-wee's Big Holiday on Netflix Gets Full-Length Trailer — Watch It Now

Pee-wee’s Big Holiday is off to an imperfect start in the first full-length trailer for his forthcoming Netflix movie.

Paul Reubens revives his iconic children’s character in a new film that finds Pee-wee on an epic adventure after he’s inspired by a complete stranger (played by True Blood‘s Joe Manganiello) to take a vacation.

Along the way, Pee-wee inadvertently crosses paths with a trio of thieves (including Brooklyn Nine-Nine‘s Stephanie Beatriz and Arrested Development alum Alia Shawkat), sending him on an unplanned detour.

John Lee (Doggie Fizzle Televizzle) directed the film, which was written by Reubens and Paul Rush (Arrested Development). Reubens and Judd Apatow (Freaks and Geeks, Girls) produced.

Will you be streaming Pee-wee’s Big Holiday when it’s released on Friday, March 18? Watch the trailer above, then sound off in the comments.

  1. Tina Fey says:

PLEASE have an appearance by Miss Yvonne and Chair-y! Then my life will be complete.

    • Garrett says:

The actress who played Miss Y’Vonne is in it but not playing that role. Also, the actress who played Simone in Big Adventure is there in a new role. I did read Jambi makes an appearance though!

  2. Eric says:

    That looks kind of bad.

  3. Garrett says:

Doesn’t look like we are going to see Dottie or others from Big Adventure, but we better at least get a cameo from the bike!
