Once Upon a Time Photos: A Mother of a Reunion, Grave Matters and More

Hello agains… and goodbyes… are on display in the first flurry of photos from the winter premiere of ABC’s Once Upon a Time Season 5.

In “Souls of the Departed” aka the series’ 100th episode (airing Sunday, March 6), Emma, Regina, Mary Margaret, David, Robin, Henry and Gold arrive in the Underworld on a mission to rescue Hook, only to discover that their search will be more difficult than they had anticipated. (The inhabitants of the Underworld — all souls with unfinished business and many with quite personal vendettas — hound our heroes at every turn.)

In the photos below, Regina reunites with her mother Cora (Barbara Hershey), who is the “mayor” of the Underworld’s topsy-turvy version of Storybrooke (“We’ve never seen Regina and her mother cordial,” notes co-creator Eddy Kitsis), Peter Pan (Robbie Kay) is poised to see his son Rumplestiltskin again and the heroes en masse visit a graveyard upon arriving on Hades’ turf.

Hey! I make the same faces they are every time I watch this show!

  2. Danielle says:

This show keeps getting worst and worst

  3. What I don’t like is the reuse of current sets to portray a different realm. That’s what happens when a show’s budget tightens.

    Can’t wait for March 6th!!!

  5. steven says:

Is that what the Underworld is gonna look like? No fire all over the place?

  6. Gail says:

If they are using “unfinished business” as a reason to explain why certain now deceased characters are not in the underworld, why would Neal not be there. Neal has unfinished business with both his father and son.

    Looking forward to this!!!

I’m super confused…. Merlin said finding and destroying nimu was the way to defeat the darkness, so why did Emma have to stab hook to try and defeat it? Have I missed something
