Shawn Ashmore Conviction Cast

Shawn Ashmore Joins ABC's Conviction Pilot, Alongside Hayley Atwell

Shawn Ashmore is officially a man of Conviction.

The Following alum will co-star opposite Agent Carter‘s Hayley Atwell in ABC’s legal drama pilot, our sister site Deadline reports.

Ashmore’s character, Sam, is an assistant district attorney who isn’t pleased that Atwell’s character has taken the job he wants: the boss of Los Angeles’ Conviction Integrity Unit. (Little does he know, she was blackmailed into taking the position.)

Mark Gordon and Nick Pepper will executive-produce the pilot with co-creators Liz Friedman and Liz Friedlander. Friedman wrote the pilot, and Friedlander will direct.

Comments are monitored, so don’t go off topic, don’t frakkin’ curse and don’t bore us with how much your coworker’s sister-in-law makes per hour. Talk smart about TV!

  1. Damn, I hope this doesn’t stop him from Killjoys. That’s one of my favorite shows, and he rocks in it…

Oh No! Sounds like curtains for Agent Carter and Killjoys! If he really has a twin brother, maybe Hayley has a twin sister no one knows about?

    • Thithya says:

He really does have a twin brother. They are identical twins. If you google Killjoys you’ll know, that it’s Aaron Ashmore who is in Killjoys.

  6. Joey Padron says:

Happy Shawn is back on a show since The Following got cancelled. He’s a good actor.
