Master of None Renewed for Season 2

Aziz Ansari can now call himself a master of renewal.

The funnyman’s acclaimed comedy Master of None has been picked up for a second season at Netflix, he announced today via Twitter. TVLine’s Cable Renewal Scorecard has been updated to reflect the news.

The show’s sophomore season will premiere in 2017.

    First season had 10 episodes – will season 2 be the same or offer more, since it’s not returning until 2017 (S1 dropped Nov 2015)?

    So excited! It was my favorite new show and Aziz did a fantastic job in the title role (plus writing and producing it!). Can’t wait for S2.
