Mike Minor, best known for playing Petticoat Junction‘s Steve Elliott, has died, Programming Insider reports. He was 75.
UPDATE: Though initial reports said Minor died on Jan. 25 of cancer, his sister-in-law Marlene Durr Fedderson posted on Facebook that he died suddenly on Jan. 28.
Minor first appeared on the CBS comedy in 1964 as a minor character named Dan Plout, who was around for one episode.
