Tonight Show Video: Sia, Natalie Portman and Fallon Perform 'Iko Iko'

With the accompaniment of Grammy-nominated singer Sia and Academy Award winner Natalie Portman, Jimmy Fallon and The Roots gathered Wednesday for their weirdest Classroom Instruments segment yet.

In anticipation of her upcoming album “This is Acting,” Sia stopped by The Tonight Show for an avant-garde performance of the popular Dixie Cups song “Iko Iko.”

The use of spoons, blocks and plastic paint buckets allows their bizzaro rendition to take on a life of its own, but never quite distracts from the fact that everyone is wigged out like Sia.

Watch the performance above.

  1. TV Gord says:

Love it! That damn song has woven in and out of my entire life, but I enjoy this one the most!

  2. Cute. I keep reading IMBRUGLIA instead of Portman, though, so I have to say I was a little disappointed. :-/

  3. MM says:

The Dixie Cups’ version featured an impromptu banging of drumsticks on the back of a chair, so this version isn’t exactly an innovation.

  4. Faye says:

I’d rather see them crowded into Jimmy’s office as they usually do it.
    But otherwise, very fun.
