I’m enjoying the re-runs on Antenna TV. The show was very progressive for its time. Alzheimer’s sucks!!

  2. Michael says:

I loved the One Day at a Time episode in which Schneider thought he’d been chosen to be a handsome model in a commercial that would shoot in Paris; he learned out later that he’d been chosen to be the little tailor who was fitting the suit on the handsome model (and the tailor is in the ad, too). He took the gig and the trip overseas anyway, which was a nice twist!

  3. MLJ says:

Not to mention that he was the
voice of “The Inspector” in that
    cartoon series.

  4. HAP says:

My first recollection of Harrington was as a regular guest on Jack Paar. Much like Cliff Arquette always appeared there in the character of Charlie Weaver, Harrington was also in character as immigrant Italian golf pro Guido Panzini.

  5. Jeff Rittenour says:

RIP late 70’s early 80’s tv forever.

  6. Wm. Ferguson says:

My favorite incarnation of Pat Harrington, Jr. was as the Itallian golf pro Guido Ponzini, on the old Jack Paar Tonight Show. Mr. Harrington, I commend you to the grace and care of God.

  7. Steve says:

He was a really nice man and I feel horribly that new suffered from this terrible disease. Rest in peace Schneider.
