Billy on the Street Renewed at truTV

Pedestrians of New York City, consider yourself warned.

Billy on the Street has been renewed for Season 5 by truTV, the network announced Thursday at the Television Critics Association Winter Press Tour.

The Funny Or Die-produced series— in which comic Billy Eichner hilariously ambushes Manhattanites with pop-culture questions (and gets into hijinks with celebrity guests) — will return in late 2016 with 10 half-hour episodes.

The network has also ordered additional Season 1 episodes of its comedy Adam Ruins Everything, which will return in mid-2016 with 14 additional half-hour installments.

truTV has also ordered a pilot for No Dumb Questions, in which host Emily Axford and a team of comedy journalists “pose the questions you didn’t think to ask, but once you hear them, you have to know the answers. If you’ve ever wondered if you could flush a whole chocolate cake down a toilet, No Dumb Questions is for you.”

Excited that Billy on the Street will be back for Season 5? Sound off below!

Billy your show along with Ellen Degeneres is so GREAT, laugher is the BEST medicine. When I get done watching your show my stomach hurts from laughter and your guest Elena is so funny as well, your show is a HUGE HIT keep up the good work.

I would only hope that one day I would be walking in New York streets to meet you. God Bless.

How is this show still on the air? This has to be the dumbest show on TV. It would be a toss up between Billy on the street and Comedy Knockout.
