Simpsons Video: Kaitlin Olson and Lisa Team Up to Stop Social Media Snafus

Lisa invents her first phone app when The Simpsons returns Sunday (Fox, 8/7c) — but there’s something Sunny funny about her new business partner.

Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) lends her voice to Quinn, a teacher who helps Lisa develop a program (voiced by Hello LadiesStephen Merchant) to prevent Springfield residents from posting regrettable photos and messages on social media — easily the Simpson clan’s finest contribution to the tech world since “Homer’s Web Page.”

But before it all blows up in their faces — I’m assuming, given the series’ track record with wacky inventions — please enjoy TVLine’s exclusive behind-the-scenes look at Sunday’s winter premiere.

Happy Kaitlin will be on the show! Can’t wait to see her episode!

I honestly feel like this is the writers/producers kind of pushing the idea that they don’t like social media today. I mean I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see this app surface and take off right away now simply because of this. Simpsons are fantastic and I love them. And I like how the message is more important than most like family guy… But this isn’t really even relevant in the sense that. tower.. Like it or not… Social media is only getting bigger.
