Poppy Harlow Passes Out During Live CNN Broadcast — Watch Video

CNN anchor Poppy Harlow went from reporting the news to becoming the news on Monday when she passed out during a live broadcast.

While discussing a poll about the American public’s approval of how President Obama is handling the war on terrorism, Harlow — who is now sixth months pregnant with her first child — began to slur her words, then suddenly went silent.

Shortly after the frightening episode, Harlow reappeared on camera to explain what had happened:

“For all of you on Twitter who are asking if I’m OK, thank you so much,” she said. “I got a little hot and I passed out for a moment. I am fine. We’re going to take a quick break, we’ll be right back.”

How is this entertainment news? I realize that this is a slooow period, but an on-air health crisis does not quite seem like TVline’s typical article.

That wasn’t as much fun as I was expecting. Glad she’s okay, though.

My first thought is that she’s pregnant. I know the incident was only momentary, but the slurring of her words would have me concerned for both her and the baby. I hope her doctor checks her out.

I agree that this happened on TV, so it does belong here on TVLine.

she should not be on tv then right now if she is at risk of this happening.
